Hello, and welcome to my website all about the Nervous System. This site was created for an Independant Study Unit as a year end project for my Grade 12 University Biology Class at Pine Ridge Secondary School.

The Nervous system is one of the most important systems in your body. It is responsible for directing the activity of major organs, right down to smaller processes such as the production of saliva, which the average person probably would not link to the nervous system. Throughout this website, students will learn an adequate amount of information about the parts of the nervous system as well as the processes that occur within it. Students will also touch on topics such as your senses, interpretations of the mind, and neurological disorders.
Students will be expected to evaluate and explain the many divisions of the nervous system that are brought up throughout this website. My goal is to better inform the students of the biological processes that allow them to think, eat, breathe, and even dream.
